Valerie Huffman - Biography


As a 16-year veteran of the film and television industry, Valerie has worked on both independent and studio films ranging in budget from $1,000,000 to $42,000,000. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Stonehill College and over seventeen of years of financial management experience.

Some of Valerie’s numerous film credits include American Crime, starring Cary Elwes, Annabella Sciorra, and Rachael Leigh Cook; Get Carter, starring Sylvester Stallone, Michael Caine and Miranda Richardson; 3000 Miles to Graceland, starring Kevin Costner, Kurt Russell and Courteney Cox; Jeepers Creepers, starring Eileen Brennan and Justin Long; Knockout, starring Maria Conchita Alonso and Paul Winfield; Nice Guys Sleep Alone, starring Sean O’Brian, Vanessa Marcil and William Sanderson; Primary Suspect, starring William Baldwin and Lee Majors; and Say it in Russian, starring Steven Brand, Steven Berkoff, and Faye Dunaway.

Valerie’s current film producing credits include the critically acclaimed film, The Woodsman, starring Kevin Bacon, Kyra Sedgwick, Benjamin Bratt and Mos Def; Shadowboxer, starring Oscar winners Helen Mirren and Cuba Gooding, Jr.; Tennessee, starring Mariah Carey, James D’Arcy, and Ethan Peck (grandson of Gregory Peck); and the recently released Precious....Based on the Novel PUSH by Sapphire, which most recently won both the Jury Prize and Audience Award at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival and the People’s Choice Award at the Toronto Film Festival.
